                                      A Cowgirl's Guide to Individuation

In this workshop we will experience the healing potential of horse-human play and connection. Feedback from horses will help us increase self-awareness, which leads to greater emotional fitness, decreased stress, and increased positivity and joy. Feedback from our Unconscious will help us attend to our Soul and to relax into the beauty of who we truly are. Workshop duration:

Thurs - Sat: 10am - 5pm   

Sun: 10am -1pm

Who this workshop is for:

• Men and Women over 35. 
• Anyone going through mid-life transitions, especially if they are experiencing mild symptoms of depression, anxiety, grief, loss of identity. or inner conflict about life direction.
• Those who would like to consciously work with dark aspects of the self in order to become more integrated and self-accepting. 
• Anyone who feels stuck in a rut, unmotivated, and with a deep desire to live a more soulful life. 
• Those who feel an unexplained "calling" to experience the medicine of horses.

• No prior horse experience is necessary.
• Learn skills to help reduce stress and anxiety.
• Learn skills to increase self-knowledge and authenticity.
• Learn body-centered techniques to restore balance to the mind-body connection.
• Develop an emotional vocabulary & learn how to dialogue with your emotions.

Agenda includes:  

• Activities with horses.             
• Mindfulness practices.
• Movement/dance.    
• Understanding the process of individuation from a Jungian perspective.
• Practices that help us move unconscious material into conscious awareness, and that help us to reframe our relationship to conflict and difficult memories & emotions: embodied imagination, dreamwork, shadow work. 

NOTE: our workshops utilize an equine-assisted "learning" (EAL) model, as opposed to an equine-assisted "therapy" (EAT/mental health) model. In other words, the purpose of the workshop is not intended as professional mental health counseling.  We do encourage mental health professionals to attend and evaluate if equine-assisted interventions can benefit their practice. Prices below (include lunch, snacks, and a wine/cheeseboard hour on Saturday). Price does not include accommodations. A $479 non-refundable deposit is due upon registration, and full payment is due 30 days prior to the workshop date. Payment plans available below.
